Donate for SpeedReader

When I was making SpeedReader, I put a lot of thought into how to distribute it. At first, I wanted to charge money for this program, but then I considered my audience: students and teachers.

Students are poor, and so can't afford to pay for software. I give it to them for free, they'll spread the word, and SpeedReader will become more widely used.

But teachers get funding from their schools for software. They regularly pay for software that helps them in the classroom and at home.

So my business model became one with free distribution and a polite request for donations. If you can't afford it, that's fine. It's freeware, after all. But if you can afford even a few spare dollars and you feel like supporting a programmer who has made something that you find useful, any donation is appreciated.
